Biography
Louise Long is a photographer, writer and publisher based in Hackney, London. Her work centres on ideas of place and culture, through a combination of research, writing and image-making. Louise’s work has been published widely in editorial and book form, exhibited across the UK, Europe and the US, and shaped through a number of international artist residencies. In 2022, Louise founded Linseed Journal, an independent print publication rooted in ‘cultural entanglement’; uniting diverse contributions from across six continents. Louise holds an MA in Fine Art Photography from the Royal College of Art and a BA in Art History from Cambridge University.
